07 si coupe exhaust tip

I just installed a civic si exhaust tip on a dxg civic 08, i was wondering if it's normal that with some effort I can move it and actually pull it right off the tail pipe, is it because the dxg has a smaller tail pipe, or is this just normal for the exhaust tip? any ideas to make it more snug?

i have an exhaust tip on mine and its impossible to take off with out taknig out the bolt or planting ur feet and ripping it off. make sure u have the tip right to the tip of the exhaust and hand tighten the bolt and then ur a torque rench to tighten it u'll here the bolt tighten and it may sound like it about to go through the exhaust thats when u stop and it shouldnt be able to move every other week check the tightness of the bolt and tighten if neccessary

alright, well I put it to the right spot and tightened it as far as the bracket would allow it and I can still move it kind of freely....anyone with the new gen civics confirm this?

I have the Si tip on my EX sedan and it fits just fine. If anything get a longer bolt and that should solve your problem.

Hey does anyone know if the '07 Si exhaust tip will fit on my 2004 Si sedan? I would imagine that all that matters is the diameter of my current exhaust for installation.

I like the look and wanted to install a tip on my car. Also, where can I purchase one? I see some tips on eBay. I don't care if it's a replica/knock-off. How much does an OEM Si tip cost?

I am sure the tip fits, however, the problem is that the tip of your exhaust on the '04 Si sedan is pointing downwards, and having the Si tip on top of that would look bad.
