So I've decided to finally pass on my beloved hothatch - I'll post some pics soon but just wanted to get the ad up ASAP - It's a 91 si, rusty as all-get-out but still rides very well. I just (just!!!) put in a new exhaust pipe, new front pads and rotors, and new left and right front CV shafts. Now it sounds like it's going to need some transmission work (or something - didn't take it apart to diagnose - it makes a scraping sound when decelerating without brakes through about 60km/hr... nothing outrageous but definitely would want to figure it out) - my lifestyle has changed and it's time for me to let it go. The AC works, the engine was swapped at 150,000km, it's not burning oil or leaking anything, and is as peppy and fun as the day it was born. Started without a sputter all winter last year (like every year). But definitely going to need some work on whatever that intermittent scraping noise is (checked back brakes and all wheel bearings, it's not that) and make no mistake, there's some rust. Other than that it's a great car and someone who loves the 4g civics could do worse with all the new and working parts here :) anyway I'll take some pics soon just wanted to post it. Comes with a set of winter tires :)
