zc swap in 88 civic

i think the civic is a CX will this engine work and is the wiring the same as a DX.

Wiring is totally different.. You'll need a new ecu to run the engine.. The wiring will have to be converted from DPFI to MPFI.

Thanks Ken,

i know what to in regards to converting a DX to ZC, but i think the 88 civic in a CX, should i just follow the same setup as if it was a dx?

i already have the sc ecu.

dood do u drive a 4speed? there is no such thing as a 4th gen CX to my knowledge. it is called an STD.

STD??? i never heard of that in my life. of course the 4th gen has a cx model. i believe the 4th gen has 4 models. cx, dx, se and si
