Zc Overheating?

Well i finally get it checked out by my mechanic and he tells me the seal on the engine has to be replaced. And its going to be $700 dollers to fix. Im thinking that is pretty expensive. Being i can pick up a used zc for around the same price. Should i get a second opinion? And what would you suggest to do if you were in my shoes? Fix or used zc? thx for your help:banghead:

by seal do you mean head gasket????

also, what is the 700$ for? does that include a new timing belt, waterpump or did you do that befre you installled the motor....
need more details.....
also what are your FUTURE plans with the motor? turbo, NA sc, nx, etc????

I dunno but my crx overheats and it burns abit of oil and leaks rad fluid. i was gonna do the cams but ive changed my mind due to the problem at hand.

And the $700 was to fix the head i guess?

id say if he wants that much to fix it just go get a new zc but first find out what it was that caused the problem of overheating
