ZC DOHC LSD makes a clunk?
 

ok well my buddy has a ZC dohc motor is his crx. anytime he really turns the steering wheel and gives it a little gas it seems to be making a clunking sound, somewhat to what a cv joint sounds like when its on its way out. how are the LSDs in these trannies designed? just looking for a simple explanation

are you 100% that its not a drive shaft??

dont think the tranny would make a noise when ya turn cause it doesn't go anywhere. i could be wrong

and are you 100% sure that hes got a LSD tranny and not a stock dohc ZC tranny with out the LSD?

lsd trannies do make noise on full lock turns...thats all I know

True, my lsd tranny makes these sounds as well.

My brothers lsd tranny was making that noise before...not sure if he still has the same problem now, cause i dont hear it anymore. Ill ask him what was the problem and how he fiixed it.
