yet another running rich post.. please help

rich running post follow up..
Hi guys, I just pulled my plugs yesteday and they are quite fouled. A month ago they were nice and golden brown. I increased my fuel pressure for a two week span by 4 psi, but returned it before my recent track event to 40. I replaced the plugs last night, and cleaned up the cap and rotor, and the wires are showing almost no resistance on the meter. Also, the plugs were evenly black across all cylindars, so I doubt its a sticking injector. the motor is a 1ts gen b16a in a 1990 integra obd0. Oh, its got a PW0 ecu with the mugen program. (I know its a rich program but its run fine in the past) Any help would be great.

increase in fuel pressure and mugan program will do it....why are you even asking this question with a mugan chip and increasing fuel pressure
increase in pressure means fuel will be forced out injector at higher pressure casueing more fuel for said amount of injector opening duration

yeah I knew that, I bought the car and I'm discovering its quirks. I adjusted the fuel pressure, before I pulled the ECU and found the chip. Its back to normal at 40psi now, and ive recet the ecu. Still running the program though. It ran fine before, maybe the extra 4 psi was enough to throw the A/F ration out the window.

lets hope so.
With my car, i started with the mugen program, which had way too much fuel and a whole whack of unnecessary timing advance, so i ditched the mugen program in favour of a stock b16 program and tuned from there.
I seriously can't believe how rich the mugen program was running on my b16 (and i even have bigger cams, headwork and more compression). Not to mention vtec kicked in super low....i know how my vtec set at 6000rpms (which was determined on the dyno to make the best power).

Trying a new O2 today, zeeman shipped me out a couple of programs to replace the mugen chip. Super fast shipping, awesome guy to deal with, I cant stress that enough, Thanks again man.
I'm still trying to get this car figured out, but I'll post when I get the chip in, I'm sure it'll be the cats a$$ .

Okay, the fuel pressure is at 40 psi now, and Ive replaced both o2 sensors. Ive got zeemans chip installed with a mild fuel map and 2 deg timing bump. The car generally feels cleaner burning and more responsive down low. The hesitation is gone! Even with the O2's it was still bogging down. It was a nice change from the mugen program. Thanks again buddy.
