Yet another rough idle question

Ok guys, did a quick search and I didn't see anything quite as similar to my problem, here goes:

When the car is cold and first started, the idle is rough, but once the car is heated up, it's fine or driving after starting when it's cold it's fine, just the initial start up. If the car is started after warming up, the rough idle is gone. Sparks, rotor, plugs and wires have all been changed, and all OEM.

Any thoughts?

:shrugs:

Maybe o2 Sensor! Fuel Filter?

I believe we checked the sensor. Wouldn't the rough idle happen all the time if it were the fuel filter

FITV...fast idle throttle valve under the TB will get it's inirds loose after time and need to be taken apart for tightening....symptom..idle will be high or all over the place with rapid fluctuations

Brian - can you throw a tester to see what code it's throwing? Makes diagnosis far easier.

Scanning for codes would be a good and easy start, but honestly, a lot of older cars run wierd when it's cold and trying to warm up. I personally wouldn't worry about it.

Mine Is Even Worst

96 Civic CX with B16A2 when i turn it on it idles like at 2000 Rpm once it warms up it goes down to about 900rpm when i drive it moves correctly with the speed but when i step on the clutch it doesn't go down it stays up until i come to a complete stop thats when it goes down back to about 900 rpm isn't that a pickle i have no clue whats wrong with it
