yeah!!! they have arrived!!!!!!!!!!
my new tires arrived today, yoko (advan) A032R. actually, i've got them on wednesday, got them put in today.
didn't take any hard corners with them yet, want to work them in first but even new, they GRIP!!!
i'll give a short review of what i think so far, besides the fact that they grip like there is no tomorrow, they are also noisy, not that i really notice the noise with my exhaust and stereo , but you'll hear it when you disengage the clutch and let the car roll, it doesn't bother me but it will to others. also, the stiff sidewall pulls the car quite hard (i am comparing to the stockers) when i hit any groove on the road,, and the effort to steer is also a little higher compare to stockers, most likely due to higher grip.
btw, i was driving tonite in the rain, so far so good since they are new. the tires i wanted to get was the Falken Azenis  but they don't know when they arrive in the size i wanted, which was 195/60/14. they do have 15s but i couldn't find anyone selling cheap 15" steelies. due to the situation, i pick the A032R instead, they do cost about $40 more the the falkens but i have a track day this sat and i don't want to drive my **** stock rubbers on it and the A032R is the one i wanted in the first place.
here is some pics
oh, i ordered these from Talon Tire , ask for Howard. he is a great help, a very nice and helpful gentleman. the cost for these to ship to richmond hill (i guess toronto would be the same) is $8 per tire and about 24hrs to get get to my house after shipped. also, the price for these is better than a few places that i've checked out in toronto, even with shipping and GST.

Nice Are they considered high performance tires? I have the Falken Ziek 502s but the Advans look a lot nicer. How much did you pay for them? Do they have them in 17s?

they do make 17" but only in 235, so i think that's a bit too wide for civic. you might consider Falken Azenis but the narrowest is 225. these are suppose to be very nice tires also, good bank for the buck. for 195/60/14 that i was considering, they go for $92 a piece before tax and shipping.

oooo!!! very nice
I was considering these tires and I also thought about the toyo RA-1s but I'm gonna go with the azenis 215/45/16...I've heard good things about them
make sure those tires are warm before trying any manovers though

i am not sure if you know, but the azenis is a pretty hot tires, so plan a head if you are going to get a set or expect to wait a little. i've heard that the whole US is backordered for anything bigger than 14". i am not trying to promote, but Howard from Talon Tire where i got my Advan told me they have some azenis came in though i don't know what size but definitely don't have my 14". good luck!
believe it or not, i drive quite conservative on the street, getting old now and everytime i speed or think about doing anything crazy, my driver's license pops into mind. don't want the popo giving me a ticket.

The A-032R's are pretty nice, but aren't they discontinuing those soon? The replacement A-038R's are already out in 2 platforms - Dry and wet tire.
I used to run A-008's Yokohama's, and consider these to be the very best R-compound Yok has ever made. They wore quickly (2.5 track events), but definately made the car handle much better than street tires.
Best racing tire would be the Hoosier's. They're damn expensive, and will last you just a bit over 1 track day. Only problem is that their sizing is really screwed up if your pushing the width to the max.
I'll probably pick up a set of the Kumho Victoracers. From what I've heard, these are really competitive tires.
