Well its been about 2 months or so since i got my custom 2.25 inch stainless exhaust and now at around 4000rpm in any gear i hear some rattling **** coming from the front that sounds like it would be a heatshield. problem is i dont have any heatshields i think. what else could be rattling? could it be my cat?

i have a high flow cat and i dont think it has one

yep it could be your cat or a broken/looses exhaust bolt/spring... Or a stone caught somwhere, I had that before, took me forever to figure it out...

i could be wrong...im trying to recall what i saw last time i changed my oil myself...ill get my lazy *** down there tomorrow and check it out

something might be loose or broken...im never driving downtown to a club again...at least not to the parking lot beside money...i ****** bottomed out so hard leaving the place that everyone was looking at me...but if i remember correctly it was already doing this before that night

You prolly made it worse..

Sometimes something breaks inside the cat and rattles.. but is the rattle that obvious and loud?

mine does the same thing but only before my car is warmed up... after it gets to normal temp it goes away

yes its very obvious but it only lasts from 4000rpm-4500rpm or so

if i shift before that aka if im not pinning it then it doesnt happen at all
