I am wondering what's the best way of driving or maintainece that driving should perform during winter period
time for warm up?
engine oil addictive?
and else?

Rust proof.

That's about it. Maybe a fresh oil change if it's due within a few weeks.

Don't bother letting your car warm up either, best way is to drive it instead of letting it idle

I'm all about letting it run for about a minute before I go anywhere.

Fresh oil, gas antifreeze if you got an older car

warm up = get in car, start it, put on seatbelt, pick a song on the radio and then go

of course make sure all windows and mirrors are clear of snow, ice, fog etc

I start the car, clear the snow, finish my smoke, then roll out. See my daily driver makes odd noises until it warms up... I think it's piston slap.

i heard that its actually better if you drive it gently instead of warming it up... like don't try to rev the **** out of the motor when you start it from the cold

i like to leave a steamer on the valve cover, that way the engine is always warm.

some new windsheild wipers and washer fluid good for below freezing is always a good idea.

i like to use synthetic and have found when it gets really cold it doesnt thicken like reg oil. Usually starts quicker just cause its more viscous. Also if you have a old battery now is the time to check if its able to keep its charge and not going to die on you.

5w30 oil. Rad flush, new blades and top up your washer fluid.

Just undercoat the crap out of it, and do your regular maintenance and you will be fine. You don't need to let it warm it, just give it a minute for the oil to get some nice flow in her again. The cold thickens it up a bit.

I let her sit for about 30seconds...so pistons aren't still ice cubes when I pull away...

Also I believe it is better to drive gently to bring up the temp. If you just sit there it takes FOREVER to get up to temp...especially little honda motors like ours...If your driving it, the extra load on the motor helps it warm up much faster. Just don't flog the thing to 8300rpm right away...lol.

I cringe when I see ppl jump in there car and are driving off not 5-10 seconds after the engine has been fired up...can't be good for it.....Foot to the rug and all, in a big hurry to get home....retards!

Pop VTEC at -15 when you first start your car ugh make me sick i see ppl do it all the time. I store my car in the winter pretty baby.

put 3 times the recommended oil amount into the engine......this will allow you to start up right away because of more lube.....trust me!

You should becareful what you say on here cause some ppl might actually take that seriously and blow out every gasket and oil seal in the engine....LOL.

Just warm up a bit and start off easy. Do your regular tune ups as you would do in summer.
