will an Integra Rad fit my car???

Hey guys,

First off I wanted to know if a teg rad would make my car run cooler and second of all will it fit if I have an AC condensor in the front of my car, if so is it direct bolt on or are there mods that have to be made ?
Oh BTW I drive a 97 civic so EK chassis.

thanks in advance ..... bruno ?? LOL

Teg rads do fit, but I think they are as long as the front portion of the car thus eliminating the condenser space. You'd have to relocate it I think.

quite a bit of modification needed. look into getting a del Sol DOHC VTEC rad or an OE dual core replacement - check this, scroll to the bottom - http://www.absoluteradiator.com/Prod....asp?idProd=10

i think the '99-'00 SiR b16a rad is the same one you have already.

if you want an upgrade check out that link i posted. there's an OE dual core by CSF for $107 US new. not a bad deal. it's probably heavy as **** though.

ryuujin, we don't discuss memebr perks outside the lounge.

so you're saying that the rad for the B16 is the same as the one for a D-series motor ?

i'm pretty sure they're all single core denso rads. go take a look at your rad. is it a denso? is it skinny like ryuujinl?

damn .... the fluidine and the koyo is some serious **** .... i just thought that the B16 rad would be different from a d series because it produces more power hence generates more heat .

don't get me worng, the stock rads are pretty good. but the thicker all-aluminum rads are so much better, they don't rust and they cool down a lot quicker. honestly if you're not planning to push major horses don't get the fluidyne - it's crazy $$$. go with an oe dual core.

Ohhh... auto rad stock, it's thicker and has a trans cooler built in, but you can plug those up. Much greater heat capacity.

for 92-2000 Honda Civic/CRX
4Cyl. 1.5/1.6L M/T & A/T Hatchback/Sedan/Coupe
This radiator has rugged, all metal construction(brass and copper with a black finish), not plastic tanks like the factory OEM radiator. The radiator core is twice as thick as the factory radiator, (1 5/16 instead of 11/16), providing twice the cooling capacity. This radiator also has twice the number of cooling tube rows as the factory radiator, (2 instead of 1), providing twice the flow. Although this radiator does not have the maximum cooling capacity of the All-Aluminum Radiators, it is an excellant choice for hard driving, high heat conditions. This is a direct replacement radiator, no modifications required.
Made By: CSF
Warranty: Limited Lifetime

Price: $ $107.00

That seems like a good deal, no?

heavy, yes... durable... YES! Brass and Copper are much better conductors than aluminium, and much more heat capacity.
