Will a d series alternator fit on a b series motor?

Will a d series alternator fit on a b series motor?
Im taking my d series alternator from my 1991 civic with a zc and I want to know if it will fit on a b18a1.

the plug will.. so it much be the bracket

it will

my buddy mounted a HO alternator he originally had on his D16Y8 and mounted it on a B18C he installed in his car after.

Thanks so much man! You saved my life here! I am doing the exact same thing cause I had a h.o. alt made for my zc and now its going to the b18. What mods if any did you buddy have to do to get it to fit?

he said everything was fine, just the plugs were diff.

everthing bolted in 100%

It can fit but its not exact, b series alternator is slightly diffrent but it can still fit somewhat,

plugs are the same though?
mine plugged right in no changes or anyhting...

i tryed putting a b18a1 alternator on a d15b2 and it wouldnt fit in the braket but i modded it to work
