will it blow?

ha gays. i just bought one 2006 new civic si. already put a turbo on it, and upgraded to stiffer suspension. its pulling about 12psi on the turbo now, with intercoller. just wondering if i up the pressure , to mabye 15 and over, will the engine be safe. i already remapped the computer to take care of all the extra air coming into it. i just dont want to lean of a mix. or more power than car can haandle. btw its ****ing fast now, 0-60 about 5 seconds.

What turbo are you running? What suspension set-up?

did you personally re-map the ecu? lol or a tuner? Have you gone on a street tune with a wideband o2? If not, do it NOW, it will blow.

If you've got larger injectors to handle it (I hope) and a well tuned engine management system....you should be ok to a point...

If your runing the stock bottom end (crank-pistons-rods etc...), it can only take so much. I don't know how strong the bottom end of a k20 is....but 15 is probably about the limit.

without proper tuning, any motor will blow.

the amount of psi in not important when talking about the limits of a block.. you need to worry about horsepower and torque, not psi.

thanks tips.

I was just saying that you cannot state that there is a certain psi that you cannot pass or makes it unsafe.
