you need to modfy the rubber inside the top hat that holds the spring.

HAVE YOU EVER SEEN AN RSX SPRING THEY ARE ABOUT THREE TIMES THE SIZE....RSX IS MCPHERSON STRUT.....91 CIVIC HB IS DOUBLE WISHBONE ....THE SPRINGS ARE NOTHING ALIKE
