wierd noises when turning
i have a 92 civic si hatch. i think the last owner said it was a joint or a bearing or sumthing like that and it would cost about 200 bucks to fix but its not desperatley needed. so anyways when i turn corners sharp it makes a du du du du du sound and i was wondering if anyone knows what it is and if i should get it fixed because its bad for the car? or is this common in older cars?
thanks

yes, its the CV joint. Its not good for the car, the CV joint is prolly cracked and all the grease got out of it and its filled with sand and road debris now. Its not that much to fix, why not just fix it?

could be a cv joint, or ball joint, or even an axel, either way the cv joint and axel are really easy to switch on your own, not sure about the ball joint. If you go on honda-tech right now in the EG section theres a step by step instructional thread on how to change the axel or cv joint, it has pics and everything!
