why am i blowing black??
 

OK i have a 88 DOHC ZC and it runs good but it seems to be blowing black suit out the back not black smoke so if i drive somewhere and get out and look at me rear bumper it has black specks all over it ...WHY?? is it b/c my engine is running to rich?? iam running a Si ECU what should i do to fix this b/c emmisions is coming up in march

it's incomplete combustion one way or another... either rich, or incomplete burn.

check heat range of spark plugs, check your timing, check the color of your spark, the condition of your injectors (of clogged, they may be spraying a ghay pattern instead of properly atomizing), check your O2 sensor volltage... and then get back to us. cuz there still could be other things wrong but they are less likely.

I have never seen an ef without this problem unless it is bone stock.
