Who knows???

ok here it is. I got a 91 civic si wit a dohc zc in it. Its got a header full exhaust and cold air intake now i want to eventually rebuild it. Who around here is good at honda rebuilding honda engines im in cobourg which is 1 hour east of toronto. Also I want to put a turbo on it but the guy that i bought the car from says that i cant, summin to do wit compression or watever so im wondering wat thats all about and what do i use????

go on to www.honda-tech.com if you have to ask this question about putting a turbo on then you need to research alot . you can run a turbo on any car.. all you have to do is lower the compression. SEARCH!

i ran a turbo on a stock b16 for a season at 8lbs with no issues. just made sure it had a good tune (zeeman ftw!!!), good parts, and all was well.

you can boost anything if done right, take the time to do it properly, and dont cut corners.

sorry..you can run a turbo on almost any engine.. and ya theres more to it then just lowering the compression. sorry.
my point is.. i dont know much about turbos but i know more then this guy and he needs to do tons more searching before he thinks about doing anything.

Guys are running turbos on the toyota 2zz-ge motor with 11.5:1 compression 10-15psi with out trouble. When it comes to boost, tuning is the key.

Yeah man...research research research!!!

I did so much research before I boosted my cavalier it's not funny...

High compression with turbo will work, it just take that much more effort and skill to tune.

Turbo is another realm of knowledge, zcboy, you have a lot of research to do ahead of you.
