classifieds or importers. whole package with wheels goes for $1800-$2200 for mint gunmetal ones. Shitty examples could be had for less. I almost bought this when I was between rims cuz the price of new rims and the price of the conversion was the same to me.... but the wheels were *** white and my car is silver so it would have looked tasteless. I paid about the same for my SiR brakes plus the cost of new rims. $600 for SiR brakes and $1350 for rims.

I think upgrade to a bigger break (i.e. SIR or something slightly bigger) can offer an improvement in the breaking department. Also use metal break pads (racing spec) for that extra breaking strength (except you wear your rotor faster).

Lighter wheels and front body mass will also reduce breaking stress hence improve the breaking ability (shorten the breaking distance).

So if you are just looking for improvements, there are many ways around it. If you insist on getting the 5 lugs (I am sure you have your reasons), classified has some for sale but more in summer time as oppose to now.

hahaha so true... but why not just get a baer big brake kit of something and then your set... much better braking... and you dont have to redo it all.... plus 5 lug rims are more expensive then a 4 lug of the same size....
