wheres the pcv value on a d16y8

I bought one a while ago and for sum reason mechanics cant find wher the pcv value goes. any one have ne idea?

Normally you have to do it when you change your oil filter. Take off the filter and look above it. There should be a black box offset to the right. Going into the left hand side of the box there is a hose. The PCV valve itself is at the end of the hose that goes into the box.

I believe it's on the intake manifold near the 3rd and 4th runner.

That is a d16z6 mani pictured but it should be similar to the y8 unit.

Just power loss from what I have experienced. I don't even change mine on the time interval and have been fine for a long time.

the y7 is under the manifold, and the only way to access it is by removeing the oil filter... even then its tight. as for the y8 see chris's diagram.
