green is usuallg ground but i dun wanna ground it out just in case its no good
no idea
your shifting problems are either a lack of skill on your part... or bad syncro's and/or gears.... that connector in your pic is connecting to the tranny correct?? if everything in your gauge cluster works then i wouldn't worry about it
the car is auto, I think that it is the automatic control lockup soloniod.
perhaps it is causing the shifting problems then... i've never looked under the hood of an auto honda so i wouldn't know
i am an awsome manual driver thanks for the advice on my shifting of the auto tranny much appreciated PUNK

Can't help you but a wiring diagram from a Hayes manual would be able to... if you know how to read a wiring diagram.
Where's 94EG6HB and the Honda Bible when we need him?
this is a 4th gen auto issue... doubt that Aaron could help :shrugs:
If it's an auto, the tranny didn't change much.
Ya, but wire colors would have changed...
And even if it did, you can still trace/figure out what each one did.
its just not connected to anything and no lose wite for miles arouind it no where i can see where it went checked withing a couple inches for a ground nothing anyhwere i have the honda shop model for this car 900 pages worth of honda tech for 88 civic and i cannot find in the wiring diagrams where it goes to or where the other end comes from i have even peeled back the corrugated wire cover through out much of the hood looking for that colour its a green wire with a black stripe
