where to buy a slide hammer?

Im doing my egr ports and CT didn't have a slide hammer. They had a regular dent puller though.

They didn't have any for rental and the cheapest dent puller was $30.

Any idea where to get one cheap or rent one?

thank you chris

btw how hard is it to remove the IM from the head? is it a whole day job? I want to take it right out of the car to drill the EGR ports and clean it up.

never done one on a prelude.. but i'd say with hand tools it might be an afternoon job. Some of the manifold nuts are hard to get at. I'd really have to see it... but im sure it can come off easily.

Why you drilling out your egr ports? High NOx? levels?

CEL 80 - EGR on my lude. Pulled the EGR and cleaned it up almost brand new, but I still feel the 3000 rpm hesitation and allot of guys suggest to do the ports because it seems to be a problem, ecspecially on the accords.

I would do it on the car but dont want to get the crap into the engine.

Agreed.

I guess you should pull the manifold then. I never heard of drilling the ports, but theoritically it should work. goodluck mattttttthew
