Where to buy driveshaft?

Hi guys, I'm new to whole car scene.
I was told by a mechanic that I need a new driveshaft.

I drive a '94 Civic CX.

Does anyone know where I can get a used driveshaft? I'm hoping to not spend more than $110 for parts and labour. I got an estimate saying I can get them for about $50-$80 used, but i don't know where too look.

Thanks for the help.

you need an axle not a driveshaft. Driveshafts transfer power to RWD cars.

anyways. Post a thread in the want to buy section. i'm sure someone out there has a spare axle.

If not.. napa and c/t sell them for around $140. But i'm 100% you can find one used. Search all the online forums.. if yuo cant find anything.. call some wreckers in your area

not worth it to buy a used one... you will pay $60 or so for a used one... but you can get a rebuilt one for not much more... call teknotik (one of the affiliates) and talk to them...

a cv shaft install is going to be aroiund $60-80 depending on the shop and fairness of how much labour they charge...

Check affiliates, our classifieds and while you are at it, read the rules for this forum about asking for places to buy stuff.
