Where are brakes lines on 98 civic?

I just came from Crappy Tire and they told me that I should get my car underside rustproofed as the brakes lines were rusting through. I decided to buy some Rust CHeck spray and do it myself however I am not sure where the lines are under the car.

Can someone tell me where I should be looking? I took a look and the only exposed lines/pipes I see is the exhaust. Everything else seems to be covered with some sort of black protective cover.

Also, they told me that the front exhaust pipe coming from the manifold is rusting and it needs to be replaced. He said that you can replace just that section (It is the original exhaust) and quoted me $150 parts + $89 labour.

Is there somewhere else I should look for a better price?
Thanks

I'm pretty sure they are under the black cover you're talking about, but wow what what a bunch of idiots at ct. fcuk if your brake likes are rusting through getting them rustproofed would be the least of your concerns. And yes that is a very high quote for for the exhaust.

just get the car rust-proofed. **** its $100... and protects your body. That can **** sucks.

But your brake lines are on the driver side (not that spraying them with rust proofing spray is going to do dick-all).

they're probably rusting from the inside as well so there's not much you can do about it. put new lines in and flush your brake fluid often!
