hey i bought some wheels for my crx and the tires are 215/40/17's, r these to big for my crx?.....i wanna lower the car about 2' or so until it almost tucks tires....r these to wide?

17x7 and it sats et 35/40 so whatever that means.

35/40 should be the offset but i have never seen it put that way.

I think the right size is:205/40/17- 215/40/17 is a little big, it might throw your speedo off. .....i think

ur gonna rub either way with 205/40/17 and for sure with the 215/40/17....especially on a 2" drop...be prepared for tickets!

ya man definately gonna rub, i had 195-50-r15 tires on a 2.25" drop and it rubed... so those larger wheels will for sure

i've got 205-40-16's and they don't rub on a 1.8 inch drop on my rx..it's close but i dunno man

17's are tooooooooooooooooooooo big for a crx anyway

They're the right size if you don't wanna go anywhere

im just going for show.......no sence on speed for me cuzz u cant use it anyway except the track which i dont ever make it to,if i wanted speed i would of kept my ss with the gm 350 in it....but im trying to jsut build a show car, kit,rims,custiom interior,big system,screens etc,etc

get air ride if its strictly show.. then you can jack it up to put it on your trailor

lol im not building no trailer queen.....im tryin to buld a daily driven show car, that i can cruise towork in and attend shows on weekens and such and compete with.
