Wheel Barings
Hello,
Well I'm going in to get my baring replaced again. Yes... AGAIN. The left rear (driver side) is it normal for the baring to go. Its only been 1 year and couple of months. The tech said its starting to make noise. I’ve had all baring replaced except for the front right passenger baring. What the hell is going on? Is this **** normal. Any you guys going or have gone through this.
Thanks,

umm that doesn't sound normal at all..
They should go well over 100K..
Specially if the car is stock, sitting on stock suspension with stock rims..
My old 90 integra went over 150K on them and it was lowered with 17's AND i don't know how new they were to being with.. I'm pretty sure they were original!
Warped tires/rims can also create the wheel bearing sound..

I've had a problem with SiR upper ball joints as have some others around here... but maybe your hubs were overtorqued at the factory with the incorrect preload.... cuz your Honda is north american built namely, in the US which makes it suspect to poor workmanship (I'm not knocking it, just stating a simple fact, so don't jump on me for it, k?) After having them replaced, you shouldn't be having any problems. Have them check the spindle while you are at it... check for tolerances.

Any other opinions?

Alignment is fine! Tires are new and so are the rims. They told me water go into my dust car and caused some rust and other ****. That is what caused the bearing to fail. Anyhow I'm going to get some new dust covers and make it all nice.
I hope that was the cause because really I can't see anything else causing the bearing to fail.

maybe just a cheap bearing, or the spindle the bearing sits on is bent or worn. If your buying honda bearing make sure it is a honda one, Honda and Acura have been known to purchase aftermarket bearing and put the part number on the box

Thanks for the info mplays. I went to a Honda dealer I'm sure they don't do that kind of stuff there. How would I know if the spindle is worn or bent?
The reason they had to replace the bearing was because water got into the dust cover and caused the bearing to seize. Anyhow I'll see how long this one lasts.
