U can tell if it is really bad. When u turn corners u can hear that like a tire doing burn out. Because the toe is very off. Like u said 1 tire is like this and the other 1 is like that. \ /
U can usually tell my the steering and the way the tires are wearing.

i knew the car was like that my buddy had it at his house and i needed a car asap cause i do enough driving so i cant be left without a car. so i still havnt paid for it but my buddy let me take the car and its all transferred to my plates and legit.
i knew that it was all off and **** but i was waiting for me to be able to get it in at work to do it because then again i dont have to drop money down not one penny

so the after all total is i have a 89 cx with rebuilt si swap ractive chrome headers , cold air intake, 14" aluminum crx si rims, si seats etc. all for a spare si motor i had laying around and $500 but didnt drop a penny on anything yet
now i have the alignment done too and still havt dropped a penny i can not complain with that one at all and im sure none of you can either.

its sometimes better to wait for the right opertunity to come around then to rush it.
i only blew 4 of the tires cause i told a fellow TCC member that i would deliver his parts (hamilton to york dale area)i was sticking to my word but i was safe while driving in such a condition as well

how can you be safe driving when your car was in that condition. kind of reminded me of when i went with my friend down to markham in his s2k where his tires were bubbling and you could see the belts ripping on his tires. his tires were so loud on the highway too because of the belts. tsk tsk.
