$60-70? Obviously not using honda parts. Spark plug wires alone cost like $100, then the cap and rotor, there's another $40. But spark plugs and oil i would just get from Crappy Tire or Fartsource.

$60-70, that's ridiculously low
I'm ashamed to say that I didn't use original honda parts either, but Accel 8mm wires ($75), g power spark plugs ($18 for all 4), cap &rotor ($35) and changing your fuel filter wouldn't hurt either $30 ish from CT.

sounds like its the spark plugs,
check them to see if they need replacement and if so, replace them with something good, dont go the cheap route b/c then ur just going to have to replace them that much sooner

Cheap plug's are good. Just dont' get platinum. Platinum's are garbage. Not very powerfull and Rough on Startup. People jsut use them because they last forever. OEM choice because of longevity. Irridium's are pricey as well. Can't go wrong with Copper.

ok so.. me and the father did a inspect on the car and appearently im just not driving it right..

we check the plugs and of corse ... their platlume.. but i guess i will spring for some NKG since that what ya all are saying is good for my baby

.. anyway.. turns out im just not driving it right... as far as my dad says .. 2100 RPM in second gear at 30 Km/h is too low .. im trying to baby the car and im just hurting her. .. so i was told by him that 3000 RPM is a nice cruzing RPM for that car.. and as far as "Bogging" he also told me its called "lugging" in the trucking indestry and it basicly means that the gas in the cylender is not completly burning... and this casuses a surge of powr when one cylender accualy dose fire proply and then backs off ...

.. does anyone have any thing else to add .. or does anyone disagree with anything here .. i just want to make sure im doing the right thing for my civic.. i absolutly love this car and would like to keep it for a long time to come. thanks for all the advince
