whats the redline on a 91 civic si??
Im thinking of changing my 91 civic cx ecu for one from a si. i have a JDM D15B SOHC VTEC which redlines at 7200RPM. My cx ecu only goes to 6800RPM and the i get fuel cut-off. so i just wanted to know if the si has a higher redline. thanks

but where on the rpm band does the engine make it max HP?

I say 6000-7000rpm is max HP and 5000-6000 is max torque. IMO

so u have a CX ecu running a d15b VTEC??? what is your vtec solenoid hooked up to?

I am also sure u dont get fuel cut off but perhaps maybe a rev limiter...I'm curious on how ur motor is running with no vtec unless u like it that way

u can run vtec off a switch instead of the ecu

its hooked up to a switch, its not brain surgery, and it works real good, im easily pullin on Z6's and Y8's
