My SRS light flashs a couple tmes when im starting the car.
Know this means theres a problem but is there a way i can identifi the problem myself or what would some common problems be

Your SRS light is supposed to flash when you start the car. Every time you start the car the on board computer does a diagnostic test. Thats why your light is flashing.... If there was a problem your light would stay on long after you start the car.

Safety Restraint System.....the flashing light is just the test to make sure it's working.

does it go off later in about 5 seconds?? if yes, dont worry about it.

thank you it just started going off and it didn't do it before so i thouhgt my car was trying to tell me something

00 Civic SiR

I own a 00 SiR and my light stays on and beeps for about 5 seconds. If your car just started doing this then I would also think there is something wrong. If you know any Honda techs ask them I am sure they deal with that stuff on a daily basis and they would be able to give you a definite answer.

The beeping sound means that your seatbelt is not buckled in. The second that you buvkle up the sound stops and then the lights go off after the system checks everything.
