What's A D16y7 With Tranny Worth?
 

What would a completely trouble free stock D16y7 out of a '99 Civic with 122k and tranny, what do you think its worth?

i would say 450 at best because it is a y7 but it does have very low kms but the market is more for z6's and y8's and such.

there isn't much demand for this transmission

if its the complete swap you may get 600-700 for it if you are really lucky.

Put it up for sale and see what you get.

Doubtful you'd get much of anything for it. There are guys selling y8's for around 400-500 with tranny. Mind you, their's has slightly higher mileage though.

I say around 350-400 dollars. If you get some compression figures, it might sell quicker.

i'm looking for a d16y7 with an auto tranny (for a '98 dx). More specifically just the auto tranny, but i'd take the whole thing together if it had low milage.

you are lucky selling ur y7 for 500 then, honestly for that price i'd rather buy a sohc vtec. i wouldn't pay anymore than 200 bucks for a MINT one.

ask dan how much he'll pay for it, lol
