just do your homework, there is tons of info on the ZC engine and the ZC transmission(optional),etc. etc.
cost range between $500- $1500 depending on what you like.

i'm not 100% sure but done hte zc engine traditionally have a smaller bore but longer stroke then say the d16z6?? i remember hearing that from someone....

either way for a 4th gen zc are probably the best bang for the buck... aside from maybe a b18a which wouldhave more torque....

the stock 4th gen si engien is basically the same as the sohc non vtec zc (looks identical) then there is the DOHc motor which looks identical to the 88-90 integra motor but has different mounts and higher comrpession and better cmas to yeild 130 hp over 113 of the integra...the sohc vtec motor is basically the same as the sohc vtec USdm motor...they are jsut called zc's because that's the designated name for them over there...jsut liek b16

they are all pretty much the same as the their usdm counter parts same block but have small diferences mainly the DOHC

Hey *****

Always wanted to say that...

You prolly are considering a DOHC ZC.

OBD0 has Creamy harness plugs..

OBD1 Grey harness plugs..

The ZC DOHC was offered in a few JDM 4th and 5th gen models..

Land Rover even used one in a vehicle in the UK.

Now I have a question.

Does that ZC line up with the mounts in the 88-91 Civics?

Or do you need B-series mounts to put it in?
