What would you use?

Im looking for some good suspension for my 2000 Civic Hatch, perferably coilover shells, but i dont want to spend madd cash.
What do you guys recommend as good suspension for daily street driving, but could track applications.

I have heard Skunk2 coilovers are nice.

Can anyone help me out?!

good suspension + but i dont want to spend madd cash= stock suspension... If you want to upgrade your suspention properly be prepared to spend at least 600$ on new gas shocks and springs/or coils... If you just throw on a set of coils with stock shocks its hardly an upgrade but more of a downgrade, cuz your gonna bounce all over...

If you must be on a tight budget by not replaceing your stock shocks, then i would recomend a good set of lowering springs...Some guys have no complaints of ride, but coilovers and stock shocks are not recomended due to spring rates...

Im sure most of the peeps here will agree, since this is higly repeted topic.. :p

Dont' lower your car just for the looks, at least I wouldn't. Yes it may look nice but there is a functional aspect to it. If you don't have the money at hand, save some then do it later.

I would rather stick with stock setup then just get some cheap parts and suffer later.

i dont have an issue with spend $600 on new shocks and coils
because in the end i will have no choice but 2 do so anyway, but i really want to avoid bouncing all over the place, but i have a nice drop with coils that have track applications.

I had springs on my old car, i wasnt 2 impressed with them..thats why i want coils.

i may just have 2 wait because i really dont want to suffere with cheap parts later

thanks for the prompt response bro

shocks first ... and get good ones the springs were set based on wieght of car..... and shoicks were set based on dampening required... upping the dampening is good... stiffen the ride up nicely
