Tires for doing what? Tires are like shoes, you wouldn't wear Prada shoes to go play football with the boys, and you wouldn't wear basketball shoes to a wedding.

for summer get summer tires

As mentioned, it depends on what you need them for. Anyhow, for performance all-seasons, I've had Hankook Ventus H101's and Yokohama Avid T4. The Hankooks were a great tire for the money and had good grip and traction in the wet and the dry, and were acceptable in the snow. I was really impressed with the Yokohamas though. They were great in all conditions (even the snow and ice) and were also completely silent.

STFU... I was so close to buying these cuz they were dirt cheap, but decided against it cuz after all, you do get what you pay for.

I have Falken Azenis on 15s (Civic), Yoko Parada Spec 2 on 17s (Saturn), and OEM firestones on 14s (extras), and some other tires, GoodYear I think on 15s on my Samurai. My dad has Bridgestone Weatherforce on his Golf... those are very impressive tires for the money and bought at Sears

i have some nice 14" yoko's up front... amazing tires... and in the rear i have some crappy 14" michellins.... the car has a LOT of over steer like that... its not a bad thing though.... certain autocross racers might be jealous of my over steer.... *cough* gatherer haha

it is when it allows you to carve corners rather then understeering into pylons....
