what spark plugs to use in '97 civic CX? - total newbie...
hi all..
total newbie here to civics..
what spark plugs should i go with for my '97 civic cx? i need something not too expensive (was hoping to go with coppers) as this is my beater, but effective. i have always used ngk v-powers in my maximas, and liked them.
also, what to gap the plugs at?
the car i am doing the tune-up on is a 97 civic cx 5 speed hatch with the 1.6L non v-tec motor.
anyone know the engine code for this motor? d16something or another?
thanks

But i would recommend always checking the gap (unless you are using platinum or iridium plugs, but i don't know who uses those anyways).
I prefer to use the copper core v-power or "race" plugs on even the high WHP setups i tune. I like the "race" plugs b/c they are the non-resistor type, better suited for high WHP setups.
