What should I do for springs?
I'm trying to fugure out what to do about new springs for my Civic. I currently have Aerospeed coilovers on the car (they have been on for a little over a month) and I really don't like the ride at all. Went for a ride in another car the other day with Eibach springs and it such a better ride.
What I'm looking for as opinions on what I should look at (I'm new to the import scene so I'm really not sure what is good and what I can get by running). The car will be driven all year long so I don't want anything over 2" drop. What I'm wondering, do I have to use springs just for the 88-91 civic? or will others work? I know enough that the spring rate will be different and I don't want a really rough ride cuz sometimes I've got to drive in the country on ****ty roads.
I want a good set of springs and would rather spend money now and get good ones. What brands should I look at? what brands should I stay away from?
Thanks in advance for any help

eibach pro-kit would suit you nicely...I myself have the eibach sportlines (lower than the pro kit)...it handles nice as is, just need to upgrade the shocks and I'm good...I like the ride height of my car. the nuespeed sports are nice too along with H&R sports...all pretty much the same drop as the pro-kit

Someone was also telling me that if my car is rough with cheap coilovers the ride will be the same if I change to progressive springs. Is this true??
Also with the sportline kit I know that I'm going to need a camber kit, I don't have a lot of money to spend on this car right now since most of my coin is going into my other truck. I can afford the springs right now but not much more for a few weeks.

i ran my neuspeed race springs with the same tires... they love the snow
but for initial question if you get a solid set of shocks like illumina's or koni yellows you can put most any spring on them and be ok

I'm running KYB GR2's right now, they were brand new when the coilovers went on the car.
Thanks for all the help guys I'm starting to get a good idea of what to look for. Now it's just choosing between the Neuspeeds and Eibachs, which I'm guessing is just personal preference.
