What should i do -- to go H&R OEM? or SPORTS? on stock rims of 1998 Coupe Si.

I dont want blown shocks...

Just want better handling...

Lowered Look

ps: Does any one have pics of the above? Thanks.

I've had a H&R sports for 3 years and i've had no problems *knock on wood* with my original stock shocks...i'm sure i have to change them really soon...i'd go with the sports...

depends on the drop u want... go sport for a mild drop (< 2 inches) and race if u want the hardcore look.. but u'll need a camber kit and your stock shock's can't handle that i think...

i'm thinking of going sport next summer as well... but may get shocks at that time. unsure on the shocks...

H & R sports forsure, hands down, i ordered a set today for my 5th gen. ask BOND007 for his opinion he has them on his 6th gen. it gives the perfect drop, no camber kit needed. it's only 1.8" front and 1.6" rear. you can ride on stock shocks for a year, but after a year it would be best to upgrade. contact SW20_MR2 on this board for pricing.

H&R Sport's are my favourite springs. They will give you a nice blend of looks, performance, and practicality.

If you want a lowered look, you won't get it with the OE Sports, as they only give a 0.75 inch drop. Go with the Sports, but remember your stock shocks won't last all that long, you are better off waiting until you have the cash and doing both springs and shocks at the same time.
