What shop to trust in GTA
 

I'm looking to have my headgasket and head bolts replaced and am looking for a RELIABLE and TRUSTWORTHY shop in the gta to do the work. I've been to a couple of shops in the past (next Level uh hum)but wasn't impressed with the quality of work they provided. Any reccomendations would be great but keep in mind I don;t want some 18 year old wrenching on my car. I checked out Splitfire today and was impressed with what I saw and the caliber of cars was top notch although Paul seemed a little tough to deal with. Input, reccomendations welcome...

I heard they are a pretty good shop.

don't go to splitfire, unless you want him to take parts off your car, do work and not tell you, then charge you for it, and have everyone but paul do the work on your car. I'm just talking from firsthand experience. My buddy spent $11,000 at splitfire. When he got his car back, guages were missing, paul took his BOV off knowing he was going to run 20psi, he made his exhaust 1 peice from the turbo all the way to the muffler....welded everything, no flanges to take it apart, he wired in the jank a$$ switch that he told my buddy to flick when starting the car so that it would start, and he couldn't even be bothered to put the interior of his car back together or bolt his seats back down.
IMO, from my experiences, splitfire is a joke, i mean some people say they do good work if you spend a lot of money there, but i'd beg to differ. Even pauls fab work was half a$$ed.

I've heard nothing but good things about Defcon Racing however.

Lenny and Carl's Speed shop is also a pretty good place.

But i heard lenny is bit of a newb.:p
