What shocks should I get?

Hey...Ive decided on Skunk2 coilovers...but I dont know which shocks...money is tight and the Koni Yelllows are way out of the question. Whats good and inexpensive out of the Tokico shocks, the Koni reds, and the kyb?

$400 gets you a used set of KYB if you can find it.

I've heard Koni Reds are pretty good (very nice on a lowered ride, but no adjustability at all).. Look into some Koni reds and see how they turn out..

I just put Koni Reds and H+R lowering springs
on my car 2000 coupe and the ride quality and hadling is great.
I have a little bit of noise from the back but am hoping that will
change as they wear in .....

Save up for the adjustables. You won't regret it.

Ah, but some of us are dumb and lazy , and adjustable means
more work . I must admit I would probably have loved to get the Koni yellows but would hardly adjust them anyways . I find the ride to be still very smooth (except the noise ,hope it fades) and it corners 100 times better and I don't find it bouncey at all ..

I know the Yellows would be WEELLL worth it...but theyre just too much. Im not too picky and i dont need PErfect ride...anything better than stock will make me somewhat happy :-)

So how much were your Koni Reds? If you dont mind

You don't have to get the Koni Yellows. KYB AGX and Tokico Illuminas can be had for $650-$750... Koni Reds are $525+ already.

True on a daily driver you won't be adjusting it much. But the option is there should you ever need it (ie track day, lapping, autox, etc.)
