IMHO just another way to make money off of n00bz that dont know **** about cars.

I can only imagine what some fools will think of next.
^^ Dude, I think you mean 1-2 psi not cfm.

In my case I didn't go out and waste $300 on mine. I got the parts myself dirt cheap from a hobby shop and built it myself. Just gave up too soon and didn't have all the components I needed.

You can't just use any old boat engine compartment vent fan, thats just stupid. Thats why I got a ducted fan DESIGNED to produce alot of thrust and flow alot of air for large RC planes. The motor I have for it turns a rediculous speed (like 70,000+ rpms) and the thing blew air like a ****.

There are expensive models on the internet that don't work well, true.

If engineered and built right , there's no reason this device can't work.

I'll say one more thing: If everybody always thought the same way and nobody came up with new ideas or tried anything new, The world would be a very boring place and we'd all be driving really slow-a$$ cars!!!

Have an imagination and don't shoot down an idea just because it didn't work when you tried it.

ummm technology is there Vortech Superchargers

and what BB said above is totally correct.

I think you mean Psi not Cfm
TOUCHE Thunder . But you say if engineered and built right... at what cost though? 100 bucks for 1psi is already stupid. Im about to give up this arguement. They already have superchargers .. real superchargers for cars which should be used on cars. Just keep the boat motors & Or Hobby Motors on your planes/boats thats what there designed for. Im sure ive made my point on where i sit on this side of the fence..

^^ You my freind are correct.

However, to buy a real SC would cost thousands. The electric blower I've been working on has cost me LESS than $100 to date.

Most ppl spend $150-$350 on short-ram and CAI, to gain what? maybe 5hp at peak.

To me, the power you get from 1psi is greater than that from a CAI or SR, and when you join the intake with 1 psi boost?....even more power. Maybe not much but 10-15hp gain is worth $100 in my books...

I'm gonna see this through and try to build it right and see if it really works for myself.

These guys using a boat engine compartment blower is just a joke....they didn't think anything through at all. they just slapped it on. Developing a new product like this takes time and patience.

You think the first turbochargers or superchargers worked flawlessly the first few times?

Just something to think about.

I'm not talking about the egay products, nor am I building one...

I agree the ebay SC's are garbage as are alot of them out there on the web.

I'm trying to make one that will actually work....not mimick what's already been made...

And guys, stop with the mc chickens......you're making me hungry!!lol
