what engine do I have
Does anyone know what the stock engine is for a 99 civic 4 door special edition, and what the model is, like eg ef?? any help would be great.

It's a D16Y7. Your chassis code is an EK in Japan, Ej in North America. Check your vin in the lower right corner of your windshield to see what EJ it is....ie EJ6, EJ8

EJ6 and the engine is a SOHC nonVTEC 106 hp code is D16Y7

EJ8 is VTEC models (coupe and sedan) only
