What is a coilover?
Another stupid question brought to you by Nova_Dust
I know springs come in different rate, and shocks are just, well, yer know, shocks. But what is a coilover? Is that an adjustable shock which is sold with spring on it?

coil overs are where u can adjust the height of ur car by turning the threadeed thingy on ur shocks rather than having a set height u can adjust the height to a certain rang for example from 0 drop to like 3 inch drop
and u can get jus the couli over sleeve or get the real nicee fancy ones from like tein or zeal
just my $0.02

So, you can adjust it with a little wrench-like thing right? but if the car is so low, how do you crank it? You have to jack up the car and do it?
Is there a way to adjust it by turning some ***** on the top of the shocks? I see Spoon has one. Is that **** for height adjustment?

go into a store and ask to look at a coilover setup you will see that it is a threaded sleeve with a adjustable spring perch (moves up and down the sleeve) and yes you have to jack up the car to make the adjustments then drop it back down and re corner wieght it. The adjustment at the top of the shock is the damping adjustment it also affects ride quality....
