what's a better suspension set up ITR or aftermarket shocks on EG

Opinions Please!

I got ITR springs/stock shocks on my EG coupe, which i'm happy with, I plan to replace the shocks in the future.

Whats a better setup:

ITR springs/ ITR LCA / ITR Shocks.

OR

ITR Springs / after market shocks for EG.

I would go with some nice aftermarket shocks like Koni Yellows.

Answer is simple. Dropzone is the way to go

^^^ is that a joke or something.....seriously this board somettimes has the biggest retards who knwo nothing...and piss the dudes that knwo **** off cause they misinform peopel...drop zone is crapola..yoru surrent setup is good....but I would save up even more and jsut get full coilovers...like tein or h&r or JIC....

marcus 17-Aug-2003 06:26 PM

or dropzones shocks w/ dropzone coilovers

the only problem is not everyone has 1,200$ to spend on a track setup for their daily driver...

ITR Springs / after market shocks for EG would be a nice comfortable ride...get a nice gas shock , you will enjoy them:)(adjustable isnt absolutly nececary unless you want to auto x or something, but would be a bonus if you do buy them)

Koni Red/Tokico Blue with standard lowering springs are good enough for 99% of the people on the road.

ya don't know where all that talk about coil-overs came from, I think there crap for everyday use. My goal is to have a perferct performance street setup. No huge 3" drops for looks or adjustable setups. Anyone know how much brand new typer r shock are from the dealer?

I am almost sure that OEM ITR shocks will be expensive. You are much better off spending money on aftermarket ones. Think about it. You have to buy ITR LCA's in addition to the ITR shocks. Why not just spend everything on some shocks that bolt right onto your existing setup? ;)

imported_BoOsTd 18-Aug-2003 10:59 AM

my guess would be about the same as a non adjustable aftermarket shock?? interesting question tho, im sure there a a few people that work at a honda delearship that might know...
