Went to the Dyno with my h22 ej8 (dyno/vid)

Decided it was about time to see what it was putting out, so i went to the dyno(dynojet). I was expecting around 175hp I got 182hp and 151 tq, so i was more then happy with the results. Remember this is untuned stock h22.

Thanks goes out to Teknotik(Nick and Eric) for letting me tag along, and getting me this mint mint motor.

182hp 151tq

Mods are.
jdm h22a
2.5 Exaust , CAI, p13 ecu.

Cheesy Vid..lol

very nice for an untuned 2.2. Vtec x-over is a bit abrupt but that is normal for a stock motor. You will benefit larger with getting a bit more overlap and raising the vtec engagement to 5800.

imported_weiRtech 14-Jul-2006 11:08 AM

i think you meant lower the engagement. the power drops off at about 4750. that's an indication that the engagement is too low. anyway good numbers for a basic set up. i love the tq of the 22. makes me wish for an extra 10ft/lbs. its good to see that you put your money where your mouth is. where is that dude with the b20v?

imported_loudsubz 14-Jul-2006 11:31 PM

lol @ those saying boost the stock h22 :p
