k so this is weird i was driving my civic n when it gets to like 3,000 - 3,400 RPMs it makes this werid noise its not a rettling noise its like a buzzing power noise its really weird i never came across nothign liek that im not sure y? it does that but recently i had my intake manifold off n installed a AEM fuel rail n regulator but i dont think it might be form it its liek a short noise n it turns off n stops or osmethign liek that


even when im standing outside when my frends was drivng my car u cna hear it its prety loud...can some1 help me n tell me if they have any idea tommorw im goin to investigate it better n probily goin to try to record a vid or osemthign liek that...thx in advance

Where is the noise coming from?

My Cat is noisey anything above 3000 it makes a rattling noise. Could also be the baffles in the cat.

Be more specific with the sound and the location the sound is coming from.

I've got the EXACT same problem in my Teg, been driving around like that for over 3 months. Its exhaust related for sure, pretty sure its from the cat. When it gets really bad i'll probably have it looked at.

most shops just remove loose exhaust heatshields for free. When customers came in for lets say an oil change they would complain of an exhaust rattle, so i would normally check it out and remove the shield if that was the cause

Heat shield would be my guess, too.

civics are known to crack on the top of the exhaust manifold (stock header), it happened to mine before i got the whole header back system, there was a warranty extension on it, take off ur heat shield and look that could most likely be your problem, or its your cat as the others said

i got the same problem ...but the noise is coming from the front some suggested it might be my intake manifold never really fixed the problem
