Weird noise.....
 

I have a 2nd gen B16 JDM and when I hit v-tec lately I heard like a ringing noise, I never heard it b4, but now I do. Its really odd. Also, I notice that sometimes my shifter will make a really bad noise like a rattling noise. Its really loud and I bet you can hear that outside the car as well.


Well, my guess is that when I hit v-tec my shifter is rattling again and I can hear it outside, or maybe even inside. Anyone have any ideas ?:thumbup:

same thing with mine, with the ringing sound, comes from my tranny though and onyl when its cold and hasn't been used, after a few minutes once the fluids r warm everything is fine.

I was thinking it might be the valves myself and the shifter noise sounds like the heat shield.....

(since it's not cold out yet thats my guess otherwise I would go with others experience)

maybe its because your still missing 1 bolt on your exhaust manifold....
