Question Weird noise

When I accelerate, I can hear a faint, very high pitched noise that increases as I accelerate. Its not part of the engine noise, seems like something else and I've no clue what it is.

Any ideas?

more then likely it's your intake. can't really tell unless you can hear it in person. can be tonnes of other things.

contact MikePasini hes on the boards... i remember when we had that prob with his car... It was the tranny.. the gear selector was bent or somthing... LISTEN to where the noise is comingfrom .. if its coming from infront of the passengers seat ... its either your intake or tranny.

check to see if the belt tension is too tight. Its 99% not the belts since it goes off and on.. but doesnt hurt to check.
