remove rear seats, get light weight seats (front), remove ac, remove carpet sound deadening interior panels, anything that u dont need to make the car work get rid of it, u will have urself a tin can that is ligher than ***** may be a tad nippy in the winter, but hell it will be light

i have my entier interior out... except dash board and door panels (like 1 pound each) and that helps out a lot... other things like removing a/c, power steering, getting lightweight rims. if your good with a welder put in a roll cage and put aluminum sheer metal for the floor... if you have a sunroof take it out and weld in a sheet of aluminum....

a stupid one is to let your car rust out....

the sound deadning material underneath the rear seats and rear cabin of the car is another 20lbs, but that is entirely upto you if you want to strip it out.

sound deading is a good one but road noise will increase. you'll need a hammer adn chissle and a few hours. carpet is heavy too! take out your spare tire and jack and all that fun stuff

hmm guys i still want the car to look good but maybe knockin off about 50-100 pds would be good...its an everyday car so i cant strip it otherwise i would..
how bout this:
ac
jack/spare tire
takin the panels off in the trunk
getting a cf hood?
lightweight rims?
b16a engine
swapping in some racing seats..
lemme know what you guys think if this is the right thing to do...
thanks

i wouldn't get rid of the spare tire... for a track sure take it out but your stupid to drive around with no spare... cause if you get a flat then you gotta wait for someone to pick up your spare then bring it to you....

but all the weight reduction you do will be offset by a b16... so your weight would stay about the same... but you'd have more power

as well as all that there is a company that makes lightwieght rebar for the bumpers ... it replaces the metal bar behind the bumper and is lighter... so there is some wieght savings there....

bbarbulo can fill in the name of the company

Benen Industries - but they mostly do Civics, dunno if they'd have a 91-93 Integra rebar.

the best way to get that sound dedening crap out is dry ice then hammer and chissel.... it'll come out in big chunks instead of little ones
