its just a stock cx motor... i was thinking of switching the distributor off the obd 1 cx motor to the Y7 motor and which flywheel do we use the other motor has a automatic torque converter and flywheel so can we use the 95 CX flywheel?
and how will the engine run with the 95 CX computer with the Y7motor

ok so i swapped the motor with a buddy and theres a sensor on the drivers side lower end of the block theres no plug for it on the obd1 harness? and the hoses that come off the valve cover off the OBD1 cx intake manifold dont match up to the lines off the d16y7 block anyone?

thats the crankshaft fluctuation sensor, you don't need that with an obd1 ecu, just leave it unplugged.
The 1.5L ecu might run a smidge lean on the d16y7 IMO.

just get some hose and make it work, cut and clamp some stock lines of you have to. If you can't find a spot for the coolant line, just plug it. The line off the valve cover most likely goes to the intake tube, before the throttle body.

evap purge solenoid? Did you use the one off the old engine?
Did you bleed the coolant when starting up the car to make sure there are no air bubbles?
As long as you can't find a spot for the coolant line to go, plugging a line won't hurt anything. But plugging a line instead of making a line that will work would be silly.

Are you sure all your connections are fine? The smoke is just dirt and grease from your hands burning off. No biggie.
