As the subject says. Do you want to increase your gas mileage and horse power of your car? And you dont want to spend a fortune on performance parts? If you want a product that can do BOTH click Here

Now all I need is a ginepig (sp) to try this thing out for me!! It says it has improved the gas mileage of 2002 Civics by 21.5%!!!

Is there a description on these items and the theory behind them and HOW they actually work to increase performance on a motor?

Sounds fishy to me

And when a piece of this thing breaks off and gets stuck in your engine, you'll be like this ----->

they say it creates a better air flow by helping to suck in air like a tornado hence the name. they even dynoed some chevy and it 'produced' 20 more ponies!!!

note: all this was done on a clayton dyno. dont know if that makes a diff or the fact that they guy didnt push the car all the way on the first run w/o this device.

That chevy was also a V8 right?

For all the things that can go wrong, I wouldn't want to pay for it.

Gee, I don't think that would make ANY diff.

Don't waste your cash. If it was THAT good, all the car dealers in Toronto would carry the thing. Think about this, even Crappy Tire doesn't carry it yet (at least i don't think they do), and it's been out for years.

Go buy yourself a short ram air or a CAI instead.

i saw an infomercial(sp) for it.... for water the theory work but... for air it would just creat turbulance (sp) for the intake air.... if you wanna increase your fuel millage put a k&n cone filter right off the throttle body.... since its such a short intake path and its sucking is such hot air you actually do notice a gain in millage... and its loud as hell too...

umm its a paperweight, its been tested, it doesn't do anything that can be of useful to your engine.

Its all in the mind. Dont fall for informercial traps.

a friend of mine had it on his car and all it did is slow done the amount of air going into his motor. he drives a 2001 si.
i have a system that plugs into the computer to monitor the intake manifold air pressur. he lost about 8psi so if they say it improves millage they are wrong. also it is made out $%^&y thin metal that is very flimsy. i my opion be your own guinipig, and use
your own car, unless you would asum all damages.

well with less air pressure wouldn't the computer be dumping less fuel into the engine and as such increase the milage... (although HP would drop)

or am I not thinking correctly?? (personally I'll try the throttle body spacers before I try this.)

Exactly. One of the major performance mags tested it a few years ago (either Sport Compact Car or Turbo, can't remember which one). Their findings were that the cars tested either gained nothing, or lost a slight amount of power.

Save your money.
