Talking wanna build up my zc sohc vtec for turbo...

hey everyone, im gonna be taking my motor out next week and i will be rebuilding it over the winter. Ive been thinking alot about turboing the motor. i wanna use a t25 turbo running at like 6-8 psi. Ive read that a stock d series can handle that kind of boost stock but i wanna upgrade pistons and connecting rods, clutch, cam, and flywheel. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? ie. what kind of pistons to use etc.

tahnks in advance

Kieran

Yes, contact Steve, he will be more than happy to assist you. Unless, you are just thinking doing a Re & Re yourself.

Endyn and Crowler seems to have a lot of D series products. For D series, I would go with USDM products.

for low boost, use Eagle rods and Suzuki Vitara pistons, ARP head studs, Crower cam, ACT clutch

it's about what I'll prolly end up doing when I get off my lazy ***

turbo ZC build up, i suggest you drop a b16 and turbo that stock motor. more power and the crank and connecting rods are stronger than the d series motors

you can't use the pistons due to a fairly large difference in bore and i suppose you could use the rods but they'd have to be machined to fit

i think the best advice is to buy a b16 and turbo that.. in the end it just might be cheaper too

nahh, cuz i already have the motor and if i go b series, i gt go buy a new b16 and i dont have 1500 to blow on that, i have 1500 to blow on the turbo setup.
